We were so fortunate to witness an incredible sunset with God rays of light shining on the North Klondike River as it flows down from Tombstone Mountain.
This rock ptarmigan is a common grouse-like bird in the Yukon. This small flock was barely distressed when we came closer to take pictures. Their feathers were starting to change to white for the upcoming winter.
